Become a Member
Article 3 of the Foundation’s By-Laws indicates that membership is open to anyone sharing the objects, values and mission of the Foundation.
These objects are:
- To protect and preserve the church of St Margaret of Scotland in Arisaig, Nova Scotia, its architecture, art and its stained glass windows;
- To preserve the cemetery in which our family members and ancestors rest;
- To build an endowment for the furtherance of the above;
- Members do not need to live in the parish or in Nova Scotia.
Types of Membership
Annual – $100 per year
This entitles the member to attend our Annual General Meeting and to vote. The entire amount is considered a charitable donation.
Lifetime – $1000
This entitles the member to attend the Annual General Meeting and to vote for the rest of the member’s life. This entire amount is also considered a charitable donation.
